Job summary

Invenergy, headquartered in Chicago, seeks a senior AVEVA PI System engineer to lead OT data integrations and ensure system reliability across assets.

You will configure PI Data Archive, AF, Collectives, and interfaces from SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs, and build automation with Python, PowerShell, and .NET to support control center operations and infrastructure modernization. Collaborate with IT and Operations, mentor junior staff, and drive onboarding of new projects.

Qualifications

• As five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems with a primary focus on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Develop automation for system maintenance using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
