Job summary

BTI, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, seeks a Production Engineer to support EEOC AV/VTC, live events, and enterprise collaboration across Washington, DC. You will ensure availability, reliability, and high-quality performance of AV/VTC systems, with hands-on editing, switching, and DSP work.

The role requires at least ten years of experience in enterprise AV/VTC environments, strong problem-solving, and ability to support on-site events and remote or hybrid engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of AV/VTC or enterprise collaboration experience.
• Experience supporting specialized AV/VTC equipment across dispersed field offices.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Extensive live-event, digital media production, and enterprise collaboration technology experience.
• Hands-on video editing with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Wondershare.
• Proficiency with video-switching equipment including Blackmagic Design.
• Advanced audio mixing and DSP experience.
• Ability to diagnose complex AV/VTC system issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and production support for live events and executive communications.
• Configure and troubleshoot AV/VTC, multimedia, broadcasting, and collaboration equipment.
• Ensure reliable operation of AV/VTC across HQ and field offices.
• Perform video editing and post-production with industry tools.
• Operate professional video-switching gear and DSP-based audio systems.
• Conduct pre-event validation and real-time support for events.
• Support enterprise video conferencing interoperability and content distribution.
• Maintain documentation for equipment and procedures.
