Job summary

The Mice Groups, Inc. is seeking a Lead / Senior Autonomous Vehicle Triage Engineer to investigate and resolve issues found during autonomous vehicle testing. You will analyze complex data streams, identify root causes, and route findings to owning teams.

You will establish triage processes, document investigations, and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional engineers and program stakeholders. Strong written and verbal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience investigating and troubleshooting complex software or AV systems.
• Strong ability to analyze logs, sensor data, video and metadata.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles, ADAS, robotics, or simulation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex streams of AV data to identify and triage issues.
• Investigate issues found during on-road drives and simulations.
• Correlate on-road issues with simulation scenarios for reproduction and testing.
• Determine if issues originate from simulations, tooling, or AV stack.
• Route issues to appropriate owners with clear evidence.
• Conduct detailed root cause investigations across AV behaviors.
• Ensure consistent issue categorization, severity, prioritization, and documentation.
• Create clear technical documentation of investigations and findings.
• Communicate complex findings to engineers, leads, and stakeholders.
• Help improve triage processes, workflows, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to other triage engineers.
• Track issues through resolution to enable reproduction and investigation.
