Job summary
Visual Sound Inc in Broomall, PA is seeking a Lead AV Technician who will build racks and install projectors, screens, and flat panels. You will handle AV cabling, fiber, racking and mounting, ensuring installations meet blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities include loading, configuring and troubleshooting Crestron, Extron, AMX and Biamp control systems; basic rack wiring, Cisco networking, reading CAD prints, and occasional out-of-town travel.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience installing audio-visual equipment and related cabling.
- Associates degree or equivalent education; CTS/CTS-I certification preferred.
- Dolby audio knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Install audio video products and components per blueprints and specifications.
- Pull cable, install connectors, mount projectors and racks.
- Load, configure and troubleshoot Crestron, Extron, AMX and Biamp systems.
- Assist with mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring.
- Read CAD prints and build blueprints and riser diagrams.
- Perform installation tasks in a timely, quality-focused manner.
