JL Entertainment Designs in Malvern, PA is seeking an Audio/Visual Project Lead / Senior Technician to oversee field operations and continue delivering high-quality installations. The role balances project management with hands-on installation work, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.

The ideal candidate has 4–5+ years in custom A/V, low-voltage, networking or home automation, with project leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years in custom A/V, low-voltage, networking or home automation.
• Project management or lead technician experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial A/V projects from kickoff to completion.
• Coordinate schedules with clients, builders, designers, and technicians.
• Review proposals, drawings, and equipment prior to installation.
• Order, track, and verify project materials.
• Monitor timelines, labor, budgets, and change orders.
• Lead installation teams and provide technical guidance on sites.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot A/V, networking, surveillance and automation.
• Perform final quality control inspections and client walkthroughs.
• Train and mentor technicians while upholding installation standards.
• Maintain project docs and communicate updates to leadership and clients.
