Job summary

Astreya is seeking an AV Technician II to join our on-site team with a global client in Mountain View, CA. You will install and support corporate AV/VC environments, quickly diagnose issues using technical skills, and contribute to high-profile event support, including audio, video, conferencing, and presentation systems.

The role includes wiring and termination work, pre-event checks, inventory tasks, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and understand AV system drawings and layouts.
• Excellent written and oral communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install AV equipment and displays, including conferencing systems and digital signage.
• Run and test cabling (Cat5e/6, HDMI, RGB, DVI, audio).
• Upload Crestron control programs and support system certification.
• Assist with inventory and pre-event checks; travel to client offices as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues during events and liaise with end users and vendors.
