Job summary

Astreya is seeking an AV Technician II to join our onsite team with one of our global clients in Mountain View, CA. The role focuses on installing and supporting AV/VC environments, including high-profile events and control systems, with travel to client offices as needed.

You will perform cable installation, configure conferencing equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable AV solutions and meet SLAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and exercise judgment.
• Strong wiring and termination skills for AV equipment.
• Excellent written and oral communication and customer service.
• Willingness to travel for events and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install AV equipment and displays including conferencing devices and digital signage.
• Pull, terminate, and test cat5e/6, HDMI, RGB, DVI, and audio cables.
• Upload Crestron control programs and coordinate with remote team on certification.
• Assist with inventory and stock management.
• Troubleshoot issues during events and perform pre-event checks.
• Coordinate with end users and vendors during events.
• Travel to client offices as required.
