Job summary

Howard Technology Solutions seeks an experienced Senior AV Technician to install, configure, and maintain audiovisual systems across corporate, education, and event environments. You will lead projects, mentor junior technicians, and ensure installations meet high industry standards.

The role requires hands-on expertise with AV control systems and networked AV solutions, plus strong client interaction skills and the ability to travel to customer sites in northern Louisiana.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or a degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial AV installation, system integration, and troubleshooting.
• Extensive experience with AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron) and audio/video signal flow.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test AV equipment such as projectors, displays, sound systems, control systems, and video conferencing solutions.
• Lead AV installation projects with the assistance of technicians and associate technicians.
• Coordinate with site manager and other team members to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Provide knowledge transfer to clients and end-users on operation of AV systems.
