Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced AV Technician to install, configure, test, and commission audio/visual systems and presentation technologies on commercial projects. You will read technical drawings, build racks, manage cables, update firmware, and provide on-site leadership while ensuring safety and quality.

This role may require being on-call, some after-hours work, and travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in AV industry.
• Experience on new commercial construction sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience installing and maintaining complex AV systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and service cabling infrastructure, AV systems, and presentation technologies.
• Assist commissioning with Crestron, Extron, Tesira, and Q-Sys.
• Configure device IDs and IP addresses.
• Build equipment racks and maintain cable management.
• Read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Provide leadership and communicate project updates.
• May be on-call and outside-hours support.
• Ensure safety policies and incident reporting.
