Job summary

REALIGN LLC is seeking an experienced AV engineer to design and deploy enterprise AV and collaboration systems across business units in New York City. You will support rollouts for conference rooms, huddle spaces, and hybrid environments, ensuring interoperability across Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and PexIP integration.

The role requires hands-on expertise with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron) and room scheduling solutions, plus experience with AV-over-IP, NDI, Dante, VLANs, QoS,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AV engineering or collaboration infrastructure.
• Proven ability to design and implement AV systems for business units, including hybrid spaces.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, PexIP, and multi-platform interoperability.
• Familiarity with AV-over-IP, NDI, Dante, VLANs, QoS, and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on expertise with control systems (Crestron, Extron) and room scheduling (EMS, FreeSpace).
• Experience with ITIL processes and ServiceNow preferred.
• Industry certifications CTS, CTS-D, Microsoft Teams Rooms Specialist, Zoom Certified Integrator, or Crestron/Extron certifications.
• Experience delivering AV/collaboration projects in regulated industries (finance/government/healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AV and collaboration systems for business units, including MTR and Zoom Rooms.
• Support project rollouts for conference rooms, huddle spaces, and hybrid setups.
• Coordinate vendor resources and oversee installation, commissioning, and testing.
• Track progress, risks, and dependencies for leadership reporting.
• Ensure deployments align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance.
• Train and support business units on new AV/collaboration technologies.
