Job summary

FORTÉ is seeking a senior Audiovisual Support Engineer to own the design, implementation, and support of complex AV systems for one of our key enterprise customers. You'll work on large-scale projects, drive system optimization, and mentor Level 1 and 2 technicians while coordinating with IT and network teams to ensure seamless integration.

The role requires deep knowledge of Crestron, Extron, AMX, and AV over IP technologies, plus strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Senior-level AV support experience
• Strong troubleshooting and mentoring abilities
• CTS/CTS-I/CTS-D or CCNA preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and configure AV systems for diverse environments.
• Troubleshoot complex AV issues beyond Level 1/2.
• Lead installation and configuration of AV equipment.
• Oversee AV-related projects, budgets, and timelines.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for integration.
• Provide mentoring and escalate technical issues.
• Procure and manage AV vendors and contracts.
• Maintain preventative maintenance and monitoring.
• Create thorough system documentation.
• Stay current with AV trends.
