Job summary

Imagenet Consulting is seeking an AV Lead Technician in Tulsa, OK to oversee the installation process and lead the AV team. You will coordinate with the Project Coordinator and Client Site Contact to ensure smooth system installations, guide technicians, and maintain high-quality client service.

The role emphasizes leadership, multitasking, and problem-solving to adapt to on-site realities and deliver top-notch results.

Qualifications

• Two or more Audio DSP Platform Certifications required (Ex. Extron, QSYS, AMX, Crestron, etc.).
• Two or more Control System Platform Certifications required (Ex. Extron, QSYS, Dante, Biamp, Crestron, etc.).
• Video Processing Platform Configuration Experience required (Ex. Novastar, RGB, DataPath, Extron, SVSI Planar, MXNET).
• Rack building experience including following CAD designs and AV Line/Wiring Diagrams.
• Capable of commissioning software configurations and final systems checks.
• Help desk/troubleshooting experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Performs service calls and installations; assists in sales and customer meetings; reports customer complaints to management.
• Inspects and tests equipment to locate and repair problems; assists team in troubleshooting audiovisual or network issues.
• Recommends changes in installation specs to simplify assembly and maintenance.
• Demonstrates equipment to customers after installation and checks function under real conditions.
• Sends email reports detailing work done in connection with installation or repair.
• Reads technical manuals to learn correct settings and continues to develop knowledge of AV and network support.
• Discusses layout and assembly procedures to clarify design details and assembles prototype systems when possible.
• Communicates with Project Coordinator about delays, unsafe sites, accidents, equipment breakdowns and other maintenance problems.
• Highly organized, punctual, multi-tasking with strong work ethic; works independently.
• Utilizes Team resources and management support to enhance Team effectiveness and development.
