Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Autonomous Driving Simulation team in Santa Clara, CA. You will help build scalable virtual environments for AV training, testing, and validation, spanning diverse scenarios and edge cases.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in autonomous vehicles or related fields, strong Python/C/C++, PyTorch, and Linux scripting, plus experience with Docker, Bazel, Jenkins, and CI/CD in large-scale systems. Equity and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS/EE/AI or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of autonomous vehicles industry experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, PyTorch, and Linux/bash scripting.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable simulation platforms and workflows for autonomous driving validation and training.
• Work on Real2Sim and Sim2Real domain adaptation technologies.
• Collaborate across systems software, neural graphics & rendering, and AI model stacks.
• Optimize large-scale simulation workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Drive production deployment and contribute to open-source initiatives where applicable.
