Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in California seeks Senior Machine Learning and Simulation Engineers for the AV Simulation team. You will lead the design and development of RL training frameworks, and build scalable simulation and data pipelines to accelerate autonomous driving research.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in large-scale ML and AI infrastructure, deep RL knowledge (PPO/GRPO), and expert C++/Python skills. Experience with HPC, GPU clusters, Kubernetes or SLURM is required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in large-scale ML training and AV simulation.
• Proven ability to productize ML solutions for autonomous driving at scale.
• Deep proficiency in RL algorithms and practical hyperparameter tuning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of large-scale RL training frameworks for AV models.
• Design, build, and optimize simulation and data pipelines for scalable training.
• Improve simulation quality and refine reward functions for RL training.
• Ensure reliability and performance of training workflows on GPU clusters.
