Job summary

Launch Systems in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Project Manager to lead a range of audio/visual events from inception to post-project follow-up. You will determine technical requirements, manage budgets, coordinate logistics, scheduling, power and rigging, and work with technicians and management to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in AutoCAD or similar rendering tools, and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the audio/visual industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or similar rendering software.
• Strong knowledge of video, audio, lighting and scenic elements.
• Bachelor's degree in Radio, TV and Film is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of events including budgeting and post-project follow-up.
• Determine technical requirements for scope of a project: logistics, scheduling, power and rigging, site requirements, CAD drawings as needed.
• Plan and schedule qualified technicians for each project, including multi-location sites.
• Coordinate site surveys in advance for individual projects.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
