Job summary

IMS Technology Services LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead planning, execution, financial performance, and successful closeout of complex audiovisual and videoconferencing systems integration projects. This role is the primary point of accountability from sales handoff through client acceptance and transition to service.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in audiovisual systems integration or related technical delivery.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent complex projects with a portfolio near $5M.
• Strong knowledge of audiovisual systems: audio, video, collaboration, control, networks, rack fabrication, installation, testing, turnover.
• Ability to read proposals, contracts, scopes of work, drawings, and change documents.
• Excellent financial management: budgets, labor forecasting, cost tracking, margin protection, billing milestones.
• Proven leadership of clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Advanced communication, negotiation, organization, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Available to travel to client sites and work outside normal hours when required.
• Comply with IMS policies, safety, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Own and actively manage an annual project portfolio of approximately $5 million.
• Lead projects from kickoff through engineering, fabrication, installation, commissioning, training, punch list, closeout.
• Build and maintain complete project work plans, schedules, dependencies, resources, and recovery plans.
• Manage budget, labor, material, subcontractor costs, and forecast-to-complete; protect margins.
• Validate contract scope, proposals, drawings, bills of material, and changes; price and communicate changes.
• Serve as the primary client contact; provide status reporting and professional communication.
• Coordinate Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Programming, Fabrication, Installation, Service, and more around one plan.
• Confirm site readiness, logistics, materials, labor alignment, safety, and turnover criteria.
• Identify risks early; assign owners; drive resolution with context and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate project records, submittals, approvals, and closeout packages.
