Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an experienced AV Operations and Support Manager to lead our Audio-Visual team in maintaining and enhancing enterprise AV platforms, conference rooms, and collaboration spaces. You will work cross-functionally with Facilities, Information Security, and Customer Experience to deliver reliable AV capabilities that support the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent field.
• 3+ years of AV management or team leadership experience.
• 5+ years in AV or engineering roles focusing on enterprise audio-visual systems.
• Strong knowledge of AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, Cisco).
• Experience with AV security practices and technologies.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in building enterprise AV infrastructure.
• Proven experience coaching and motivating team members.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of all audio-visual capabilities that support the business.
• Plan and execute AV infrastructure upgrades with the AV engineering team.
• Oversee planning and execution of large corporate conferencing events.
• Manage vendor relationships with AV hardware and software vendors.
• Develop proactive strategies to minimize end-user impact in enterprise AV deployments.
• Implement and enforce AV security policies and best practices.
• Align technical decisions with business objectives while delivering outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and other departments.
• Partner with Facilities, Information Security, and Customer Experience teams.
• Establish and improve team processes to reduce inefficiencies and risks.
• Mentor and support AV team members towards collaboration.
• Contribute to engineering architectural strategy and modernization.
• Act as ambassador for continuous improvement in AV services.
• Ensure AV equipment and software align with organizational standards.
