Job summary

The Lighthouse AV Lead Technician role is based in Venice, CA. You will maintain and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment across all production studios, while mentoring the AV team and supporting private events and large-scale brand partnerships.

The position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. A related field degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in audio-visual technology, preferably in events, film/tv, or theater.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a creative environment.
• Evenings and weekends available.
• Minimum one year experience managing a team of 3 or more.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment across all production studios.
• Provide senior-level guidance, mentorship, and technical support to the AV team.
• Set up, operate, and break down AV equipment for private and large-scale events.
• Provide technical support to creators, members, and guests, including setup and troubleshooting.
• Conduct regular maintenance, repairs, and inventory checks to ensure equipment remains operational.
• Support the Production Operations Manager in executing AV designs and studio setups.
