Job summary

Electra Link in Texas is seeking an experienced AV Technician to install commercial audiovisual equipment on mid-to-large scale projects. You will collaborate with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and top quality.

The role requires reading construction and signal-flow drawings, hands-on cabling, testing, and troubleshooting. CTS certification is a plus, and familiarity with Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Audio DSP systems is

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of AV installation experience.
Ability to read and implement construction and signal flow drawings.
High standards of workmanship on cabling, lacing, soldering, and crimping.
Ability to test completed systems fully for engineering specifications and operational functionality.
CTS certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead AV installation projects.
Adhere to the company’s and client’s safety guidelines.
Coordinate with the project manager to ensure productivity, job completion, and budget compliance.
Serve as the main on-site customer contact for questions and/or concerns.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
