Job summary

Electra Link, Inc. is seeking an AV Technician to install commercial audiovisual equipment across client sites in Texas.

You will work with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and clients to complete projects on time and within budget, while delivering quality installations. The role requires at least 5 years of AV installation experience, ability to read drawings and signal flow, strong cabling and soldering skills, and proficiency with Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Audio DSP

Qualifications

Be self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.
Minimum of 5 years of AV installation experience.
Ability to read and implement construction and signal flow drawings.
High standards of workmanship on cabling, lacing, soldering, and crimping.
Ability to test completed systems fully for both engineering specifications and operational functionality.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve issues as they arise.
Network cabling is a plus.
CTS certifications are a plus.
Familiar with Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Audio DSP Systems; manufacturer’s certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead AV project installations on-site.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure productivity, job completion, and budget compliance.
Serve as the main on-site contact for clients and questions.
Perform work with a detailed level of technical knowledge, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
