Job summary

Diversified is seeking an Installation Superintendent to lead on-site installation activities on advanced technology projects for clients. The role focuses on coordinating with project management, contractors, and staff to ensure timely, high-quality installations across diverse spaces.

Applicants should have extensive AV installation experience, CTS certifications preferred, and the ability to manage large teams and complex schedules. Occasional overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in installation technician or related field.
• Familiar with audio/video and networking equipment.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts.
• Advanced AV installation skills.
• Able to read design drawings and cable diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Drive installation completion with quality control and timelines.
• Oversee on-site activity and address issues to meet standards.
• Lead install crews, subcontractors and union trades.
• Regularly lead a team on large projects.
• Coordinate with PM and staff to resolve roadblocks.
• Ensure high-quality installation work and on-site management.
• Read and interpret drawings and cable diagrams.
• Some overtime/weekends to meet deadlines.
• Build and wire panels from engineering drawings.
• Handle fiber optic installation, termination and testing.
• Provide training to on-site install techs.
• Track tools, materials, vehicles and inventories.
• Maintain licenses and certifications.
