Job summary

cb20 in the Capital Region is seeking an experienced AV Configuration Specialist to install, configure, and troubleshoot complex AV systems in lab and field environments. You will rack, verify wiring, troubleshoot, and document results while supporting client training and ensuring successful commissioning of projects for major brands like Crestron, Biamp, Extron and QSC.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in AV Installation, Commissioning and Service.
• CTS/CTS-I and CQT preferred.
• Experience with conferencing platforms: Teams, Zoom, WebEx.
• Proficient with Crestron, Biamp, Extron and QSC.
• Strong networking skills and trouble-shooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute configuration tasks in lab and field.
• Rack fabrication of AV systems.
• Verify wiring connectivity and terminations.
• Analyze and resolve configuration issues.
• Support loading and testing of control programs and DSP builds.
• Configure major AV brands.
• Provide end-user training on software interfaces.
• Develop and maintain configuration procedures.
• Mentor junior specialists.
