Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an Audio Visual (AV) Operator in Washington, DC to set up and operate audio, video, and multimedia systems for meetings, conferences, training, and live or virtual events.

You will coordinate with stakeholders, prepare technical environments, and provide real-time support to ensure high-quality AV experiences. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, an active Top Secret clearance, and ability to obtain DHS EOD at SCI level.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AV experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain DHS EOD.
• Experience with hybrid meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom, Webex).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate audio, video, and multimedia equipment for meetings and events.
• Coordinate with organizers and staff to determine equipment needs.
• Test and calibrate equipment before events.
• Support in-person, hybrid, and virtual meetings with high-quality audio/video.
• Manage live AV streams and playback as needed.
• Submit trouble tickets to Tier 2/3 for repairs; maintain documentation.
• Ensure setups comply with standards, safety, and security policies.
