Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an AV Engineer for our NYC office to design and implement enterprise-grade AV systems across multiple spaces, from small meetings to company-wide all-hands. You will own the design, procurement, programming, and commissioning, ensuring reliable, scalable collaboration experiences across offices.

Responsibilities include leading deployments, creating schematics, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and IT/security teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise AV design/implementation experience.
• Proficient in control system programming (Q-Sys or equivalent).
• Hands-on with video conferencing platforms, esp. Google Meet.
• Ability to read/create AV schematics and rack elevations.
• Knowledge of DSP, noise reduction, EQ, dynamics, and automixing.

Responsibilities

• Lead AV design, procurement, and programming for new/offices and expansions.
• Create and maintain AV system designs, schematics, and diagrams.
• Program and commission AV systems per use case and user needs.
• Execute first-day deployments and ensure day-one operations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and workplace teams.
• Test emerging AV tech to boost productivity and experiences.
• Develop automated solutions to improve reliability and reduce ops load.
• Coordinate with Security/IT to meet enterprise requirements.
• Document programming logic, troubleshooting guides, and procedures.
• Oversee global AV operations and vendor relationships.
