Job summary

AutoNation seeks an Advanced Autonomous Vehicle Technician to perform complex diagnostics, calibrations, and system integrations on autonomous vehicles. You will tackle high‑voltage, CAN/LIN networks, and sensor systems while supporting software/hardware deployments and field testing.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years as an automotive, EV, robotics, or AV technician.
• Strong diagnostic experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Hands-on sensor experience (LiDAR, radar, cameras) and computer hardware.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software, tools, and electrical testing.

Responsibilities

• Advanced diagnostics: troubleshoot powertrain, braking, suspension and HV systems.
• Calibrate LiDAR, radar, cameras, GPS, IMUs, and perception systems.
• Install, configure, and replace AV components; support software deployments.
• On-road and closed-course testing; assist remote monitoring and field support.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
