Job summary
General Motors is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Serial Data Calibration to own the calibration process across propulsion control modules and partner organizations. You will translate vehicle requirements into repeatable calibration practices, guide calibration engineers, and improve tools, workflows, and standards to deliver high-quality releases.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in propulsion-system calibration or related field.
- Strong understanding of calibration execution, calibration strategy, and controls functionality.
- Experience with CAN/LIN vehicle networks and data analysis to identify root causes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for serial-data calibration across engine, transmission, and powertrain modules and partners.
- Provide direction for calibration execution, configuration accuracy, and standard procedures.
- Review calibration guides, software, requirements, and design intent to understand what calibrations do and where they apply.
