Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechanical Engineering
• Three years of experience in software development for autonomous robotics
• Experience must include production focused C++ software development, designing data pipelines
• Three years of experience developing sensor data processing and fusion, SLAM development, and optimizing code for deployment

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test onboard and offboard software pipelines for autonomous vehicle localization systems
• Conduct code review and guide junior team members on code quality, correctness and efficiency
• Work with mapping team to establish API for localization-mapping interaction
• Provide technical leadership in code quality and design
• Collaborate with perception, motion planning, and controls algorithm experts
