Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a senior autonomy engineer to own and productionize an autonomy stack for hospital deployments in Gainesville, FL. The role combines hardware and software, with hands-on responsibility and clear ownership of the autonomy system.

You will architect, deploy and maintain ROS/ROS2 based solutions, work across software, controls and sensors, and mentor junior engineers as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Senior autonomy engineer with production deployment experience.
• Strong C++, Python, Linux skills with ROS/ROS2 experience and a production mindset.
• Proven technical leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy autonomy software (ROS/ROS2) for hospital deployments.
• Develop logging, telemetry, health monitoring and diagnostics tooling.
• Collaborate with software, electrical, mechanical, sensors and controls teams.
• Own autonomy architecture across navigation, localization, planning and safety.
