Job summary

Promotive in Timonium, MD is seeking an A Level or strong B+ Level Automotive Technician for a Monday-Friday, no-weekend role with 75+ vehicle weekly flow and 40-50 hours per week.

The position offers a flat-rate pay of $40-$50 per flagged hour, weekly pay, and fully paid employee medical coverage. A team-oriented shop with modern tools supports career growth toward ASE Master Technician status.

Qualifications

• A Level or very high B+ Level technician with strong diagnostic and repair capabilities.
• MD State Inspection license preferred; ASE certifications desirable.
• Experience with drivability concerns and advanced mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and drivability concerns.
• Perform advanced automotive repairs, including timing chains/belts.
• Use diagnostics to identify vehicle concerns and verify repairs.
• Service a mixed domestic/Asian/European vehicle roster.
• Complete digital vehicle inspections via AutoVitals.
• Collaborate with technicians to maintain workflow and quality.
• Mentor other technicians, supporting junior staff as needed.
