Job summary

Promotive seeks a B Level Automotive Technician in Goldsboro, NC who can handle a busy repair bay with pride in workmanship. The shop operates Monday–Friday with no weekends, offering a production-tiered pay plan from $30 to $40 per flagged hour and weekly pay.

You'll work on Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles in a six-bay shop with modern equipment and digital processes, delivering consistent workflow and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Professional automotive repair experience with ability to independently handle B-Level work.
• Hands-on experience with steering, suspension, brakes, tires, cooling systems, A/C, wheel alignments, and general repairs.
• Ability to perform basic electrical testing and diagnostics.
• Experience completing digital vehicle inspections.
• Independent repair shop experience preferred.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle steering, suspension, brake, tire, cooling system and general repairs.
• Perform R&R work and routine maintenance efficiently.
• Service and repair automotive A/C systems.
• Perform wheel alignments with Hunter equipment.
• Conduct electrical testing and diagnostics as needed.
• Complete digital vehicle inspections with Tekmetric.
• Ensure repair quality and accuracy.
• Work independently while contributing to the team.
