Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Southington, CT seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing to specifications (brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment), explaining findings to non‑mechanical customers, and staying current through paid formal training and ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes, hydraulics, steering and suspension and alignments.
• Experienced in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
