Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward improved customer care. The role offers a flat-rate pay model with rates between $20.60 and $31.15 per hour and on-site work across our store network.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brake, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems, explaining repairs to customers, and pursuing ASE certifications with company support.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Strong skills in brakes, hydraulics, steering and suspension.
• Proficient in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• 3 years automotive repair experience (preferred).
• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8 (L1 acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers in clear terms.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through ongoing training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications with company-supported tests.
