Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Virginia seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction.

The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus for State Inspection certified candidates and a flat-rate pay model with a pay range of $25.30–$43.89 per hour. Ongoing training and ASE certifications are supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
• Brakes/hydraulics, steering & suspension skills.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications; company covers exam fees.
