Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leveraging leadership skills to guide a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes staying current with automotive tech through paid training, training teammates, and earning ASE certifications within two years, with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license.
• Skilled in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering, suspension, and alignments.
• Current federal, state, and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment.
