Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to lead a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. Pay range shown reflects a regional flat-rate model rewarding expertise.

The role emphasizes staying current with automotive tech through ongoing paid training, mentoring others, and pursuing ASE certifications. Bridgestone pledges fair pay with minimum wage compliance and strong support for employee development.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times.
• Brake and hydraulic systems and/or steering, suspension and alignments experience.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Preferred ASE certification in at least one A1-A8.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, suspension, A/C and electrical systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology via paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications; company covers test fees.
