Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward excellent customer care. The role includes using leadership and mentoring skills and a sign-on bonus of $2,000.

Pay range $20.60 to $34.15 per hour, with flat-rate pay and company-paid training; we emphasize fair compensation and ongoing ASE certifications. The position requires ASE readiness and a commitment to safety and service quality across our

Qualifications

Valid driver's license required.
Skill in brakes, hydraulics, steering and suspension.
Ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical people.
Willingness to pursue ASE certifications within two years.
Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Technicians receive bonus for each test passed).
