Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading and mentoring a team to improve customer care and satisfaction. The role includes performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and staying current with automotive technology.

The position emphasizes leadership development, ongoing paid training, and a compensation model based on flat-rate pay, with pay reflecting regional earning potential and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing brake and hydraulic systems, electrical, and suspensions.
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people.
• Mentoring teammates and leading a team toward higher customer care.
• A.S.E. certification in one of A1–A8 (L1 accepted) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within first two years of employment; bonuses for tests passed.
