Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Jeffersontown, KY is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, and to mentor a team toward superior customer care. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and ongoing formal training.

You will repair to specifications, communicate findings to customers, stay current with automotive tech, and pursue ASE certifications within two years. Flat-rate pay reflects regional productivity.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in brakes, hydraulics, steering and alignment.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• High attention to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
