Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair drivability and electrical systems to specifications.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical people.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications in at least three areas within two years (tests paid by company).
