Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Senior Technician in Greensboro to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a small team to improve customer care and satisfaction.

You will perform brake, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer diagnostics, with ongoing paid training and opportunities to earn ASE certifications within the first two years.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems, and steering & suspension.
• Experience in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Preferred: 3 years of automotive repair experience or vocational-technical training.
• Preferred: ASE certification in A1-A8 (L1 acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company).
