Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Bedford, TX is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward higher customer care.

The role offers a flat-rate pay model with a pay range of $19.57–$31.55 per hour and a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 for new teammates. Training and certification opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension and alignments.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications; tests paid for by the company with bonuses.
