Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Austin, TX, is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while applying leadership to drive a team toward enhanced customer care and satisfaction.

Role offers a performance-based flat-rate pay model. Pay range is $20.60 - $31.15 per hour, with additional benefits and regional pay reflectors. This position emphasizes training and ASE certifications to support ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Brace yourself: A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1–A8 required or preferred.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within the first two years of employment.
