Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while mentoring teammates and improving customer care. The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on repair, and ongoing training within a structured, performance-driven environment.

The position offers a flat-rate pay model with potential to earn based on tasks completed. Prior ASE certs or progress toward them is valued, with company support for certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Proven skill in brakes & hydraulics and/or steering & suspension.
• Skilled in automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical).
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing tasks.
• Work toward ASE certifications (three tests within two years).
