Job summary

Rightway Automotive in Indianapolis, IN is seeking experienced A-Level and B-Level Automotive Technicians for a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends. A-Level technicians earn $45–$55/hour, B-Level $28–$49/hour, with weekly pay, and a hybrid pay arrangement.

The shop services a wide variety of makes and models (excluding German vehicles) and offers 401(k) with 3% match, life and vision insurance, uniforms, paid holidays, PTO, and quarterly training bonuses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• 3+ years of automotive diagnostic experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to complete repairs independently from diagnosis through completion.
• Strong communication and professional workplace communication.
• Team-oriented and organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns using strong automotive diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Complete assigned automotive repairs independently from diagnosis through completion.
• Troubleshoot vehicle concerns and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Perform work across a wide variety of makes and models, excluding German vehicles.
• Use computer-based automotive technology and shop systems as part of the repair process.
• Maintain organized, detail-oriented work throughout diagnosis and repair.
• Collaborate with the shop team to support an efficient, technician-focused work environment.
