Advantage Auto Service in Palmyra, NJ is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to perform general repairs, diagnostics, and inspections on predominantly Asian and domestic vehicles. The shop provides state-of-the-art tools, training, and a team-oriented environment with a focus on efficiency and growth.

The role offers a hybrid pay plan with $25-$45/hour, plus potential bonuses and a earning potential of $80k-$100k annually depending on productivity.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Experience servicing Asian and domestic vehicles; European experience a plus.
• Ability to independently perform general repair and maintenance work.
• Basic to intermediate diagnostic capability.
• Experience using automotive scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Must provide personal basic hand tools; specialty tools provided by shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform general automotive repair, maintenance, and vehicle inspections.
• Complete brake, suspension, cooling system, water pump, window regulator repairs.
• Remove and replace automotive components as required for assigned repair work.
• Perform basic to intermediate automotive diagnostics using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Service mostly Asian and domestic vehicles; some European and fleet vehicles.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections using Tekmetric; training available for new DVI users.
• Work toward ~40 flagged hours per week.
• Coordinate with shop foreman/manager to maintain efficient workflow.
