Job summary

Promotive seeks an experienced Automotive Technician in Terre Haute, IN to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs with dealer-level tools, including EV/ADAS work. This role offers a flat-rate hourly pay, no weekends, and a high earning potential in a modern 14-bay shop with state-of-the-art equipment.

You will work with seasoned technicians, manage 50–55 vehicles per week, and enjoy benefits like health insurance, a SIMPLE IRA match, PTO, uniforms, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• A-Level or strong A/B-Level automotive technician experience.
• 5+ years of recent automotive repair experience.
• 3–5+ years of diagnostic experience.
• Proven productivity and billed hours.
• Strong job-related communication and teamwork skills.
• ASE certifications preferred or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and repairs
• Service domestic and import vehicles, including EVs
• Complete maintenance and drivability repairs
• Perform major engine and transmission repairs
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
• Maintain strong billed hours and productivity
• Work with technicians and apprentices to keep jobs moving
