Job summary

Gilder Search Group in Southgate, MI is seeking an A Level or B+ Automotive Technician for a full-time role. Pay is $35-$50 per flat-rate hour with a $600 weekly guarantee and a real potential to earn well over $100,000 annually in a fast-paced shop.

You’ll diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, and European vehicles using Autel, Snap-on, and Launch tools, complete Tekmetric digital inspections, and participate in training to develop toward A-Level capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong automotive diagnostic skills required.
• Comfortable working with domestic, Asian, and European makes and models.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle concerns, including check engine related issues.
• Use Autel, Snap-on, and Launch scan tools for diagnostics.
• Complete digital vehicle inspections using Tekmetric and communicate findings.
• Maintain high quality repairs with attention to efficiency.
