Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an A Level or High B Level Automotive Technician for an independent repair shop in Sturgis, Michigan. This role involves advanced drivability and electrical diagnostics on domestic, Asian, and select European vehicles, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• A Level Automotive Technician or High Level B Technician with strong diagnostic abilities.
• Michigan State Mechanic Certification(s) required.
• ASE Certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced drivability and electrical diagnostics.
• Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, and select European vehicles.
• Complete brake, suspension, steering, and general mechanical repairs.
• Accurately inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs.
• Utilize digital vehicle inspections to communicate findings.
• Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Work collaboratively with advisors and fellow technicians to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
