Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Texas is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles with accuracy and efficiency. You will use advanced diagnostic tools and follow MAP guidelines to meet dealership and manufacturer repair standards.

Incredible pay at $30.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications, with benefits including time off, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) match. This on-site role supports a team committed to integrity and customer care.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required.
• ASE certifications in lieu of experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18; State Inspector license (where required) within 30 days of hire.
• HS diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to certification/experience levels.
• Perform work per Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order with accuracy.
• Carry out complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to managers, service advisors, and customers.
• Recommend necessary services and document recommendations in customer file.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to supervisor.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends as needed; Sundays off.
• Adhere to Sun Auto’s values and policies.
