Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles with accuracy and efficiency. You will perform advanced diagnostics and repairs while ensuring vehicles meet MAP guidelines and dealership, manufacturer, and company repair standards.

Get paid $30.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications, with competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician/mechanic experience required.
• ASE certifications may substitute for experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized diagnostic equipment.
• State Inspector license (or ability to obtain within 30 days where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to appropriate certification/experience level.
• Performs work as outlined on inspection and repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to customers or managers.
• Recommends necessary services and documents all recommendations.
• Adheres to safety procedures and Sun Auto policies.
• May include weekends; Sun Auto Sundays are not required.
• Complies with company values and policies.
